Song now playing: On The Road Again

Hi, These were Don's trucks. He started working on this 1955 GMC first series, in 1988. It's still not done. He bought it without a bed. So He built a bed out of oak. He loved working with wood. It turned out great. A friend of ours, Gary, painted the truck for him with a spray gun in one hand and his baby in the other (he made me put that in). Don left this truck to his grandson Johnny.

This was his next project. It's a 1961 Chevy. He drove it for 5 years, then I started working on the red one below. Well, the red one is done, and this one he left to his grandson Joe.

This is the truck he drove every day. It's his 1955 Chevy 2nd series. He left this truck to his grandson Mike.

He no longer had this truck but he wanted to include it. It's a 1953 ford and I drove it for about 4 years. We sold this truck soon after we moved to Texas.

Since we moved to the country Don had a lot to do.
